Swami Vivekananda Inspirational Quotes

Inspirational Quotes by Swami Vivekananda“We are responsible for what we are, and whatever we wish ourselves to be, we have the power to make ourselves. If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act.” ~ Swami Vivekananda

“Never think there is anything impossible for the soul. It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin? To say that you are weak, or others are weak.” ~ Vivekananda

“The goal of mankind is knowledge ... Now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside: it is all inside. What we say a man 'knows', should, in strict psychological language, be what he 'discovers' or 'unveils'; what man 'learns' is really what he discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.” ~ Swami Vivekananda

  1. Isn't there a story of a mother coming to Vivekananda to change the habit of eating jaggery and he asks them to come another time as he himself had that habit and wanted to stop it before talking to the child. Vivekananda is a great personality who who preached and practiced the same. Nice Post on an inspiring person!
