International Yoga Festival at Rishikesh

The International Yoga Festival is an annual program jointly organized by the Uttarakhand Tourism and Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, at the lap of the lower Himalayas, in India. International Yoga Festival is a one week long festival which offers yoga classes from highly qualified and trained Yoga teachers from around the world. International Yoga Festival at Rishikesh has become one of the largest yoga gathering in the world, with people from over 30 countries attending the program. In 2010, the International Yoga Festival 2010 will be held from 1st March 2010 to 7th March 2010. 

International Yoga Festival program features different yoga sessions, meditation classes, special light ceremony, Aarti on the river Ganga, and discussions with some of India's leading spiritual leaders. Additional events during the Yoga festival include lectures on the connection between mind-body, cultural song-dance programs musical performances, and special Indian vegetarian cooking lessons.

  1. Do you know if there will be a 3rd International Yoga and Music festival (like the first 2) in Nov in Rishikesh? I went to the first one two years ago and it was amazing...
