The annual Prathista Day festival of Sreekanteswaram Durga Devi Temple is scheduled to be held on Chitra Pournami Day. Sreekanteswaram Durga Devi Temple is a famous Goddess Temple situated near Sreekanteswaram Shiva Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
On the first day of the festival there will be special poojas such as Navakabhishekam and Kalabhabhishekam from 7 AM to 11.30 AM. Aiswarya Pooja will be conducted at 5.00 PM and Pournami Pooja at 7.00 PM which is followed by Pushpabhishekam at 8.00 PM.
Parayalakkal and Ezhunallipu will be held. The Goddess will be taken back to temple at 10.30 PM, which marks the conclusion of the 2 days Sreekanteswaram Durga Devi Temple Prathista Day Festival.
