Vishu Festival in Sabarimala Temple

Vishu Kani Darshanam at Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple in Kerala is on the Vishu festival date. Sabarimala Temple is one of the main Kerala temples where Vishu festival is celebrated with much religious importance. Vishu is the Zodiac New Year festival of Kerala, which falls in the Malayalam month of Medam (April – May).

The Vishukkani darshanam at  Sabarimala Sree Dharmashasta Temple  is from 4 AM to 7 AM. Neyyabhishekam will be held after 7 AM. The temple priest will give Vishu kaineetam for Lord Ayyappa devotees.

Apart from regular poojas, Padi Pooja and Udhayastamaya poojas will be held as part of Vishu Festival. Laksharchana will be held at Sabarimala during Vishu festival.
