Beni Madhav Temple is an ancient temple located in Daragunj suburb in the city of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. This holy temple of Lakshmi Narayan, located near the Prayag Ghat on the bank of River Ganga, is one of the 12 Madhav temples in Prayag. The highly worshipped shrine of Beni Madhav temple enshrines the magnificent ancient black stone idols of Radha Krishna. Both of them offer blessings to devotees in their combined form.
Temple History
It is believed that the Guru of Vaishnavas in Bengal, Chaithanya Mahaprabhu had visited Beni Madhav Temple in Allahabad once. He was a devotee of Lord Mahavishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. After his arrival, pilgrims all over India started visiting this temple.
Temple Timings
Beni Madhav Temple opens daily from 5 AM to 12 Noon in the morning and evening temple timings are from 3 PM to 10 PM. The temple conducts four times Aarti and devotional songs are at 8.30 PM.

Beni Madhav Temple lies in 15-Alopi Bagh, GT Road, in the west side of Sangam area, around 9 km from Allahabad Railway Station.

Allahabad is a temple city in Uttar Pradesh which locates 205 km away from the state capital Lucknow. The ancient name of this place was Prayag.
