Kalabhairav Ashtami is an important festival dedicated to Lord Kal Bhairav, a manifestation of Lord Shiva. Kalashtami or Kal Bhairav Astami is observed on the Ashtami day of the Krishna Paksha in the Margasheersh month in north Indian calendars. While in other regional calendars the festival falls on Krishna Paksha of Karthik Month. The festival is also known as Mahakaal Bhairav Jayanti. The date of 2021 Kalabhairav Ashtami festival is November 27.
