Details of Madurai Meenakshi Temple Festivals celebrated on every month from January to December. The most important festival is the Chithirai Brahamostavam Festival. Also known as Meenakshi Thirukalyanam, the festival celebrates the divine marriage of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar. Chithirai Brahamostavam is celebrated in the Tamil month of Chithirai (April) every year. Theppa Thiruvizha (float festival) is held for seven days in the month of January.
