Chhath Puja 2023 Dates calendar. Chhath Pooja is an important Hindu festival celebrated for four days annually in the month of Kartik (October – November). Chhath Pooja celebration falls after Diwali festival and is more popular in the states of Bihar and, Jharkhand. The puja is dedicated to Lord Surya, Lord Kartikeaya and Chhathi Mayya.

17 November 2023 – Nahai Khai or Nahay Khay (Chaturthi)
18 November 2023 – Kharna (Panchami)
19 November 2023 – Chhath Puja, Sandhya Arghya (Shashthi)
20 November 2023 – Usha Arghya, Parana Day (Saptami)
Chhath Puja festival is celebrated as a thanks giving to the Sun God and the main rituals include strict fasting and offering to Lord Surya Bhagavan on sacred rivers.
