Savitri Temple Pushkar Rajasthan

Savitri Temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan is one of the rare temples in India. The temple is one of the few temples which is exclusively dedicated to Goddess Savitri, the divine consort of Lord Brahma. The temple was built on the top of the Ratnagiri Hill behind the Bramha Temple. Both the idols of Savitri and Gayatri are installed here. It is believed that Goddess Savitri rested upon this hill on her arrival to Pushkar. The temple has its route through hills and it takes about an hour to reach this temple. This temple is also one of the best place for enjoying the scenic beauty.

Savitri Temple is located about 2 km east of Pushkar and is well connected with road, rail and air. One can easily reach here by bus, taxi or private vehicles and then by walk up to the temple. The nearest rail head is Ajmer Railway Station. The temple is well connected through this railway station to major city railway stations like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, Pali, Ahmedabad. The nearest airport is Jaipur Airport. The temple can be reached through this airport which is well connected with regular domestic flights to Delhi and Mumbai.
