Lakshmi Narasimha Temple Bhadravati Karnataka

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is a Hindu temple located at Bhadravathi near Shimoga in Karantaka, India. The Primary deity worshipped here is Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple has idols of Lord Sri Krishna, Lord Purushottama, Lord Ganesha as well as Goddess Sharadamba. The temple is currently regarded as a protected monument by the Karnataka state division of Archaeological Survey of India.

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Bhadravathi was built in the 13th century by Veera Narasimha. The temple is built on a Nakshtra style platform. This temple comprises three Gopurams and hence called by the name Threekutachal Temple.

Bhadravati is located 255 km away from Bangalore, 19 km from Shimoga and 170 km from Hubli and is well-connected by means of road, rail and air transportations. To reach Bhadravati from Shimoga, devotees can either book a taxi or take a KSRTC bus.The railway line from Birur-Bangalore passes through this city. The nearest airport is Hubli Airport. There are daily flights to Hubli from Bangalore and Belgaum. The Mangalore airport is 180 km away.
