Majestic caparisoned elephants, traditional melam ensembles, and ceremonial processions form the visual and auditory highlights of the day. Devotees gather in large numbers, setting aside worldly worries to immerse themselves in the blessings of the Divine Mother.

A grand procession accompanied by elephants proceeds through traditional routes including Kalakandeswaram, Desamangalam Town, and Kothapuram Temple, culminating at Kottipparakkal.
