Chembakakunnu Sree Gopalakrishna Swamy Temple Devaswom, located at Edavilakam, Murukkumpuzha P.O, is conducting the Meena Rohini Maholsavam along with the 11th Srimad Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yajnam in March 2026. The festival is celebrated with great devotion every year and includes special poojas, Bhagavatha parayanam, pongala, procession, and aarattu.

The celebrations will begin on March 15, 2026 with Thrikodiyettu, which marks the ceremonial flag hoisting and the beginning of the festival. From this day onwards, Srimad Bhagavatha Sapthaham will be conducted as part of the spiritual programs. During the Sapthaham, sacred recitation of Srimad Bhagavatam is performed, which is believed to bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth to devotees.

On March 22, 2026, Nagarootu ritual will be held in the temple. This is a traditional offering performed for the well-being of devotees and the protection of the temple and village. Many devotees attend this ritual to seek blessings of Lord Gopalakrishna.

On March 23, 2026, Palpayasa Pongala will be conducted as a special offering to the deity. Pongala is considered a sacred ritual in which devotees prepare offerings as a symbol of devotion and gratitude to the Lord. The offering of Palpayasam is believed to bring prosperity and fulfillment of wishes.

The festival will conclude on March 24, 2026 with the Aarattu Ghoshayatra. The Aarattu procession is one of the most important parts of the festival, where the deity is taken in a ceremonial procession accompanied by traditional music and temple rituals.
