Thachukunnummel Sree Mahadevi Temple Festival 2026 – Cultural Programs and Thiruvathira Celebration

The annual festival celebrations of Thachukunnummel Sree Mahadevi Temple will be held in March 2026 under the leadership of the Utsava Committee at Chempilode, Komath Kunnambram. The festival includes devotional rituals, traditional performances, and cultural programs presented by local residents and temple devotees.

On March 16, 2026 (Monday) at 10:00 PM, a special Thiruvathira performance will be presented by the Mathrusamithi, along with various cultural programs performed by local children. The celebrations will feature colorful temple arts, traditional decorations, and performances showcasing the cultural heritage of the region.

On March 17, 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 PM, a grand cultural procession will be conducted from Komath Kunnambram with a festive atmosphere. The procession will include beautifully decorated umbrellas, illuminated floats, artistic performances, and traditional percussion such as Chendamelam. Young girls carrying Thalappoli will accompany the procession, making the event visually attractive and spiritually vibrant.
