Thiruvizha Sree Mahadeva Temple Festival 2026 – Cherthala, Alappuzha
The annual festival of Thiruvizha Sree Mahadeva Temple, located at Thiruvizha near Kanichukulangara P.O., Cherthala in Alappuzha district, will be celebrated with great devotion from March 17 to March 26, 2026 (Meenam 03–12, 1201 Malayalam Era). This sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva attracts a large number of devotees every year during the festival period.
The celebrations will begin with the Kodiyettu (flag hoisting) on March 17, 2026, marking the start of the ten-day festival. Various temple rituals, special poojas, cultural programs, and traditional ceremonies will be conducted throughout the festival days.
