2nd March 2026 – Monday (Main Puram Day 1)
Morning Events:
4:00 AM: Rituals begin at the temple.
Daytime Highlights:
12:00 PM: Keli Patt at Killikkurissi Mahadeva Temple.
1:30 PM: Choppan, horses are prepared.
2:00 PM: Horse procession starts to the temple grounds.
3:00 PM: Horse performances (Kuthirakali) at the temple.
1:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Grand Panchavadyam performance at Kunjan Smaraka Vayanasala.
Afternoon & Evening Events:
3:45 PM: Elephant procession (Anappooram) moves to the temple.
4:00 PM: Panchavadyam along the Lakidi route, joining the Vadakkumangalam Puram.
5:00 PM: Puram event continues at the temple grounds with Pandimela and Kudamatam
8:00 PM: Day Puram ends.
