The Parayezhunnallath celebrations extend across twelve spiritually significant days, from February 1 to February 22, 2026, covering various regions and junctions surrounding Mullikkulangara, Pallaramangalam, Ponakam, Umbernadu, Manappuzha, Mavelikkara, and nearby localities. Each day begins early in the morning, typically from 6:00 AM, with sacred Anpoli processions, lamp offerings, and community-led rituals organized by temple committees, residents’ associations, youth groups, trade unions, and cultural organizations.

Special highlights include 21-lamp floral Anpoli offerings, public Anpoli ceremonies at prominent junctions, and joint offerings conducted by local Hindu organizations and temple trusts. These rituals symbolize collective devotion, prosperity, and protection of the region under the blessings of Mullikkulangara Bhagavathi.

A major spiritual highlight of the season is the Shivaratri Mahotsavam, observed on Sunday, February 15, 2026 (Kumbham 03, 1201). Rituals begin early at 4:30 AM with Harinama Keerthanam and Usha Pooja, followed by Nirmalya Darshanam, Ganapathi Homam, and Shiva Purana Parayanam. The arrival of the Thiruvabharanam procession, Kalasha Pooja, and sacred adornment of the deity are performed under the chief priesthood of Brahmasree Thazhamon Kandhararu Mohanararu.

The evening is marked by Deeparadhana, Deepa Kazhcha, fireworks, and traditional temple music performances including Nadaswaram and Thakil Melam, led by renowned artists such as Ochira Prasanna Shivadasan and others. The celebrations continue through the night, creating a deeply spiritual and festive atmosphere.

The Mullikkulangara Devi Temple Parayezhunnallath and Shivaratri Mahotsavam 2026 stand as a powerful expression of faith, unity, and devotion, inviting devotees from all walks of life to participate and receive divine blessings.
