Konath Keezhathil Sree Bhadra Devi Temple is an ancient and sacred shrine where Goddess Keezhathil Devi is worshipped as a powerful manifestation of Shakti, revered as both Shakti Swaroopini and Abhishtavaradayini—the bestower of boons and fulfillment of devotees’ wishes. The temple holds a significant spiritual and cultural place in the region and is known for its traditional rituals, sanctity, and strong devotional heritage.

The Prathishta Anniversary Mahotsavam and Pongala will be observed with great devotion and traditional grandeur from 18 January to 20 January 2026 (Makaram 4, 5, 6 – Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday). The festival will be conducted under the chief priesthood of Brahmasree Narayanan Rameshan, strictly following Vedic and temple traditions.

The celebrations commence with Ashtadravya Maha Ganapathi Homam, followed by a series of important rituals including Kalasapooja, Bhagavathi Seva, Mrityunjaya Homam, Ashtabhishekam, Nagaroot, Pushpabhishekam, and the highly revered Pongala offering. The festival also includes Thalappoli, Nadappanthal and Mukhamandapam ceremonies, submission of renovated temple structures, Thirumukha Samarpanam, Annadanam (free food distribution), cultural programs, and traditional ritual performances.

•  Daily homams including Ganapathi Homam and Mrityunjaya Homam

•  Nagaroot procession and Bhagavathi Seva
•  Pongala offering by devotees

•  Cultural programs including classical dance, Thiruvathira, bhajans, and devotional performances by reputed groups

Devotees may offer Nirapara to the Goddess at the temple premises during the festival days. Lemon lamp (Naranga Vilakku) offerings can also be made in the evenings for the fulfillment of specific wishes.
