Neyyattinkara Meletheruvu Sree Mutharamman Devi Temple is an ancient and historically significant shrine that stands as a spiritual landmark in the heart of Neyyattinkara town. The Amman Koda Mahotsavam 2026 of this revered temple will be celebrated with grandeur and devotion on 6th and 7th April 2026. As part of this annual celebration, the Vlangamuri Paurasamithi will once again organize the traditional Irakki Pooja Mahotsavam and Kavadi Ghoshayatra, continuing a sacred custom that has been observed year after year with increasing enthusiasm and spiritual fervor.

The festival begins on Monday, 6 April 2026, with Annadanam at 12:00 noon, conducted at various orphanages in Neyyattinkara. This noble act of offering food reflects the temple’s emphasis on compassion, service, and social responsibility. In the evening at 7:00 PM, devotees will be treated to a devotional music festival, Paattu Mahotsavam 2026, presented by the renowned Thiruvananthapuram Thekkans, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations.

Later in the night, at 10:00 PM, the majestic Devi Ezhunnallathu (procession) will be ceremonially received. This will be followed by Pushpabhishekam, the grand Irakki Pooja, and a spectacular fireworks display, marking a spiritually electrifying culmination of the day’s rituals.

On Tuesday, 7 April 2026, the celebrations continue with the much-anticipated Kavadi Ghoshayatra at 4:00 PM. Devotees carrying colorful kavadi offerings move in rhythmic procession, symbolizing devotion, sacrifice, and divine surrender. The festival concludes with the sacred Kavadi Abhishekam at 8:00 PM in the temple premises, offering a serene and powerful spiritual experience to all participants.
