Prathishta Anniversary 2026 Thekkekonam Nagar Kavu Sree Durga Bhagavathi Temple
Thekkekonam Nagar Kavu Sree Durga Bhagavathi Temple, located at Chovvara, is celebrating the 44th Prathishta Varshikam (Consecration Anniversary) from April 20 to April 25, 2026 (Medam 7 to 13, 1201). The temple is managed by Sree Durga Bhagavathi Kshetram Trust (Reg. No. 756/2002), and the annual celebration is conducted with great devotion and traditional rituals.
The Prathishta anniversary is one of the most important occasions in the temple, marking the sacred day when the deity was installed according to tantric rituals. During these days, special poojas, homams, devotional programs, and temple rituals will be performed for the blessings of Durga Bhagavathi.
