Triprayar Ekadasi, also spelled Thriprayar Ekadasi, is the major annual festival celebrated at famous Triprayar Sri Rama Temple in Thrissur, Kerala. In 2023, the date of Triprayar Ekadasi festival is on 8 December 2023 and the date of Dasami Vilakku is on 9 December 2023.

Importance of Ekadasi Day
Ekadasi day is considered to be of great significance to Lord Vishnu. Devotees usually fast on the Ekadashi day and the fasting ends on the next day after bath and visiting the temple. Special poojas and rituals are held at the temple.
Triprayar Temple is just 25 km from the famous Guruvayur Krishna Temple and 30 km from Koodalmanikyam Temple.

Triprayar Ekadasi Rituals
Thriprayar Ekadasi is the Ekadashi festival which falls on the Malayalam month of Vrischikam (November – December) every year. On the Dasami day (the preceding day of Ekadasi), the idol of Lord Shasta (Ayyappa) is taken in procession. On the Ekadasi day, the idol of Lord Rama is taken in procession accompanied by twenty-one elephants and royal possessions. Every year, thousands of Hindu devotees from all over Kerala visit the temple to witness the divine Triprayar Ekadasi divine procession.
