Arattu Padmanabhaswamy Temple 2021 October 11

The Arattu Festival at Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram marks the closing ceremony of the 10 days annual festival held in the Malayalam Thulam Masam (October – November). This year, the Arattu Festival at Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple is on 11 October 2021. The previous night of Arattu, there will be a ceremonial temple procession of Lord Padmanabhaswamy, known as Pallivetta. Vetta symbolizes Lord Vishnu hunting down the demon of evil in the forest.

On the Arattu day at Thiruvananthapuram, images of Lord Padmanabhawamy, Lord Narasimha, and Lord Krishna are taken in procession to the Arabian sea at Shanghumugham beach. His Highness from the Royal family of Travancore will lead the procession with the royal sword in hand, who will be escorted by members of the Royal family, armed guards, temple authorities, mounted police, and officers. After the ceremonial bath in Shanghumugham, images are taken back in procession which marks the conclusion of the festival.

  1. What a hidden wealth from our Religious temples ? If we take all temples & Modern God persons wealth, & create an endovement trust with trust in Government to give fair returns to temples as annual interest, the sum thus raised will by well over multi-million CRORES of Rupees, which can be used for Infrastructure & Education projects while promoting the religious culture too.So is true for Mosques, churches, & all other religious places. Is there any one in power to translate this idea to reality for the wellfare of all indians?
