Hall of Values

Hall of Values, also known as Sahajanand Pradarshan, exhibits various incidents from the life of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, thereby explaining the importance of happiness, success and peace of mind. These are portrayed through fifteen 3-D dioramas and presentations. The world's smallest animatronic robot in the form of Ghanshyam Maharaj (the child form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan) is an important feature.

IMAX Theatre

The theater in the Swaminarayan temple complex features a film specially composed for the complex called Nilkanth Yatra. Also known as Neelkanth Darshan, this is an epic period film, presenting the Indian pilgrimage of Neelkanth Varni (Swaminarayan), a child-yogi, of 18th century India. The film also portrays the holy places of India, Indian festivals and spiritual traditions and culture of India.

Musical Fountain

Also known as the Yagnapurush Kund, the music fountain Akshardham Complex is the largest step well in India featuring 2,870 steps and 108 small shrines. Yagnapurush Kund is a blend of a Vedic Yagna Kund and a musical fountain. There is an 8-petaled lotus shaped yagna kund, designed according to the Jayaakhya Samhita of the Panchratra scripture. A musical fountain show, representing the circle of life, is played for the audience, at night.

Boat Ride

The boat ride at Akshardham Temple is named as Sanskruti Vihar. The boat ride takes visitors through 10,000 years of Indian history. Seated in specially designed peacock, tourists can sail through the world’s first university - Takshashila, ancient hospitals, chemistry laboratories, and bazaars.

Garden of India

The Garden of India exhibition is named as the Bharat Upavan. The garden featuring lush manicured lawns, trees, and shrubs is decorated with bronze sculptures of national figures, freedom fighters, and warriors of India who contributed to the country’s culture and history.

  1. We have visited the place three years back. For children and for those who want to know about our culture and history, seeing the shows is really enlightening. How Bhagwan takes different forms and plays different roles in different eras to remove our ignorance and teach us the dharmic way of life --Swami Narayan's life enlightens us in this regard.
