Karpaga Vinayagar Temple Pooja Details

Important Poojas performed at Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Pillayarpatti, Tamil Nadu. Also known as Pillayarpatti Temple, this 1600 year old Lord Ganesh shrine is one of the oldest cave temples in India. The temple enshrines a huge six feet tall bas relief Lord Ganesha idol in an excavated cave, off of a hill in the precincts of the temple.


Karpaga Vinayagar Temple Pooja Timings 

The morning darshan timings are from 6 AM to 1 PM. There are 3 main poojas conducted in the morning.

Thiruvanandal pooja from 06.00 A.M - 06.30 A.M
Kaalasanthi pooja timings are from 08.30 A.M - 09.30 A.M
Uchikalam pooja from 11.30 A.M - 12.00 P.M

The evening darshan timings are from 4 PM to 8.30 PM. There are 2 main poojas in the evening.

Maalaisanthi or Sayaratsai pooja - 05.00 P.M - 06.30 P.M
Iravusanthi or Arthajaman pooja 07-45 P.M - 08-30 P.M

The temple is open from 6 AM to 8.30 PM during Thaipoosam Festival and Sabarimalai Ayyappan Temple Festival days.
