Sarkara Devi Temple is an important Goddess Temple located in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The temple lies south of Chirayinkeezhu Taluk, around 33 km north-west of Trivandrum city. Sarkara Devi Temple Pongala 2024 date is on 14 February 2024.

Sarkaradevi Temple enshrines Goddess Bhadrakali as the presiding deity. Sarkara Temple is renowned for the annual Kaliyoot Festival celebrated in the Malayalam month of Kumbham, February – March.
The temple’s popularity began after the introduction of Kaliyoot festival by late His Highness Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, the Travancore sovereign in 1748. The sub-deities in the temple are Ganapathy and Nagaraja. The temple has some basic attachment with Nakramcode Devi Temple which located in Avanavanchery, Attingal. Attingal and Varkala are the nearest towns to reach temple.
Sarkara Temple Festivals
Kaliyootu Maholsavam, Meena Bharani and Sarkaradevi Pongala and are the important festival celebrated in the temple. Meena Bharani festival falls on the Malayalam month of Meenam (March - April). Sarkaradevi Temple Pongala festival is conducted on the 1st day of the Malayalam month of Kumbham (mid February). Kaliyootu is a 9 day long festival with elaborate rituals and traditional ceremonies. On the 8th and 9th day Mudi uzhichil" and "Nilathil poru are conducted.
