Shankumugham Devi Temple Festival this year is from 1 April to 10 April 2016. The goddess temple is located in the world famous Shankumugham Beach in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The temple enshrines a beautiful idol of Goddess Parvati Devi in standing posture. The 10 days festival is celebrated on the Malayalam month of Meenam. Pongala utsavam is celebrated on the ninth day of the festival. This year Shankumugham Devi Temple Pongala utsavam is on 9 April 2016, Saturday.
