It is said that each of the Pandava princes have installed idols of Lord Sree Krishna on the banks of the Pampa and nearby places. These temples are considered very sacred and are also included in the 108 Divyadesams. 

Devotees must visit these temples in this order only - Thrichitat Temple, Thiruppuliyoor Temple, Thiruvaranmula Temple, Thiruvanvandoor Temple and Thrikkodithanam Temple.

Thrichittatt Maha Vishnu Temple by Yudhishthira

Thrichittatt Maha Vishnu Temple is a Hindu temple located at Chengannur in Alappuzha, Kerala.  The primary deity worshipped here is an avatar of Vishnu named Imayavarappan or Imayavarappa Perumal. This temple is connected with the legend of Mahabharata. It is believed that Yudhishthira built this temple. 

The nearest railway station is Chengannur railway station. Nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport. The temple is open from 4 am to 11:00 am and 5 pm to 8 pm.

Puliyur Mahavishnu Temple by Bheema

Thirupuliyoor Temple is one of the 108 Vishnu Temples located at Chengannur in Alappuzha, Kerala. This temple is one of the five ancient shrines connected with the legend of Mahabharata. The presiding deity is Mahavishnu with four hands holding in each Sankhu, Chakra, Gada and Padma. Sreekovil is Conical in shape. The annual festival is in the Malayalam month of Makaram. It is believed that Bheema built this temple.

Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple by Arjuna

Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple is a Hindu temple located at Aranmula in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. The Primary deity worshipped here is Parthasarathy.   Parthasarathy is the other name of Krishna as Lord Krishna was Arjuna's Charioteer in the Mahabharata war. This is one of the most important Krishna temples in Kerala. It is believed that Arjuna built this temple. The festival celebrated here is the Khandavanadahanam, in the Malayalam month of Dhanus.
