The three forms of God that make up the Hindu trimurti are Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.The word 'trimurti' means 'three forms'. In the trimurti, Brahma is the creator, Vishnu is the preserver and Shiva is the destroyer.

Shiva: Shiva is the destroyer god in Hinduism, who is responsible for destroying the universe in order to make way for a new cycle of creation. He is also associated with meditation and asceticism.
