Occurring two weeks after the Kharchi Puja, Ker puja is dedicated to honoring Ker, the guardian deity of Vastu Devata. The commencement of the puja was undertaken by the Tripura rajas. The Halam tribe is obligated to partake in the puja. Throughout the festival, the entrances to the capital are sealed for a duration of 2.5 days, and all participants, including the reigning monarch, are prohibited from wearing footwear, igniting flames, engaging in dance, or vocalizing songs.
