Marattil Kottaram Bhagavathi Temple Mudiyettu 2026 

The historic Sree Marattil Kottaram Bhagavathi Temple is conducting the traditional Mudiyettu 2026, a sacred ritual art performance dedicated to Bhagavathi (Bhadrakali).

The ritual will be held on April 1, 2026 (Friday) – Medam 18, Malayalam Era 1201 with the participation of the renowned Sree Bhadra Mudiyettu Sangham, Thirumarayoor.

Mudiyettu is a rare temple ritual performed as an offering to the Goddess, symbolizing the victory of Bhadrakali over Darika, and is considered highly auspicious in Bhagavathi temples of Kerala.
